Kingston Ontario Wedding Photographer
When couples are choosing a wedding photographer in Kingston, Ontario, they’re not just choosing a photography style.
They’re choosing a presence or personality.
A steady hand. A calm voice. And someone who can handle whatever the day brings.
Megan and Liam’s wedding day is the perfect example of what it’s really like to work with me.
Wedding days rarely go exactly according to plan.
On Megan’s wedding morning, her hair and makeup artist quit last minute. Her ride to the venue fell through. The timeline shifted (as it usually does at most weddings).
It could have felt chaotic.
But if you saw Megan that morning, you wouldn’t have known any of that was happening. She was calm. Grounded. Trusting that it would all work out.
And that’s where I quietly step in.
My second shooter, Josh, drove her to the venue and picked up Liam. I stayed with Megan at Sephora while she had her makeup done — and when it came time to fix her hair? I pulled from my years working as an assistant in a salon and did it myself.

High stress? Yes.
Worth it? Duh.
Because on your wedding day, I’m not just there to photograph it. I’m there to support it. And to be honest, I absolutely looooveee problem solving because I know it makes the experience for my clients so much better. This day is about you and I genuinely want you to have the best, most stress-free time. So if there’s something I can do to make that happen, you better believe I’m going to do it.
Their ceremony at Occasions by the Bay (where I had my own reception years ago) was held in the most beautiful outdoor forest setting.
It was peaceful. Romantic. Intimate. The kind of ceremony where you can actually breathe. No rushing about and no nervous energy – everyone felt so calm.
That’s something I prioritize on every wedding day — creating space for you to feel present instead of rushed. Whether it’s adjusting a timeline, fluffing a dress, pinning a boutonniere, or redirecting family members gently during portraits — I handle it so you don’t have to.

Megan told me she wanted Twilight vibes for her wedding portraits — moody, romantic, a little cinematic.
We leaned into the forest setting. The soft light. The intimacy.
When I delivered her gallery, I got the message I’ve come to know so well:
“EEEE.”
That’s Megan’s tell lol. The excited squeal she sends when she’s obsessed.
Since her wedding, I’ve photographed her newborn session, breastfeeding session, family photos, and her baby’s one-year cake smash. She sends an “EEE” every. single. time. Sometimes, she’ll even send an “EEE” when she’s booking!

I have to say, I so appreciate the enthusiasm. If you know me, you know that’s the kind of relationship I love building with my clients. I was voted “most enthusiastic” in grade 6 and I feel like as an adult I’ve lived up to that superlative.
Megan shared this after her wedding:
“She went so far beyond the role of photographer. She rolled effortlessly with last-minute changes, helped with driving needs, jumped in to save my hair without hesitation, and was a calming, steady presence when it mattered most.”
And this:
“Beyond her talent, Alicia creates an environment that is unmatched. Every session feels comfortable, safe, and genuinely magical. You always feel at home with her, and that ease shines through in the photos she takes.”
This review means everything to me because this is the exact experience I spend all my time trying create for you.
Not just beautiful images. Because that’s just the baseline. You deserve more than that.
You deserve an environment where you feel completely taken care of. Especially on your wedding day.

What It’s Really Like to Work With Me on Your Wedding Day
March 27, 2026
Most couples book 12–18 months out, especially for peak summer and fall dates around Kingston. That said, I do occasionally have last-minute availability — it never hurts to reach out. The sooner we connect, the better chance we have of making it work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely. I love to travel and I regularly shoot throughout Eastern Ontario including Prince Edward County, Belleville, Napanee, and beyond. Travel fees may apply depending on distance — just ask when you inquire and I'll give you a straight answer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Every package includes a complimentary engagement session, full high-resolution edited images delivered to a private online gallery with unlimited downloads, sneak peeks within a week, and me — fully present and genuinely invested in your day from start to finish. I always try to include an second shooter, depending on availability and how far out you book.
Frequently Asked Questions
You'll get sneak peeks quickly after your wedding so you're not waiting in suspense. Full galleries are delivered with a turnaround time that lets me give every image the attention it deserves — I'll give you a specific timeline when we book so you always know what to expect.
Frequently Asked Questions
Warm, real, and genuine. I focus on emotion and connection over stiff poses — the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the way your partner looks at you when you're not watching, the dancing that happens after everyone thinks the photos are done. I'll give you gentle direction when you need it and get out of the way when you don't.
Frequently Asked Questions
It's actually my favourite kind of couple to work with. As a core French teacher, I've spent years learning how to make people feel comfortable in situations where they'd rather be anywhere else. By the end of their engagement session, most of my couples tell me it felt like we were all just hanging out with friends — and that's exactly when the best photos happen.
