And that’s where I quietly step in.
My second shooter, Josh, drove her to the venue and picked up Liam. I stayed with Megan at Sephora while she had her makeup done — and when it came time to fix her hair? I pulled from my years working as an assistant in a salon and did it myself.

Their ceremony at Occasions by the Bay (where I had my own reception years ago) was held in the most beautiful outdoor forest setting.

We leaned into the forest setting. The soft light. The intimacy.

Since her wedding, I’ve photographed her newborn session, breastfeeding session, family photos, and her baby’s one-year cake smash. She sends an “EEE” every. single. time. Sometimes, she’ll even send an “EEE” when she’s booking!
